So this is the second pair of shoes I submitted to the RM Williams competition today!
With this pair I made something that is quite out of line with their current styles, but still a current trend, with the wooden clog base.
I designed the clog base and had Bruce Miller from Shoe Lasts Australia make it for me, then I made the rest of the straps, put the eyelets in, sealed the clog and put it all together. The grey leather is kid skin, and it is lined with a sand coloured pig skin.
Oh and the nails did end up looking quite good, but they're not completely hammered in because I'll need to remove the straps to do a few more coats of the sealant when I get them back from RM's. In case you were wondering :)
