In December I'll be curating an exhibition titled Non Mode at Format in Adelaide. The point of the exhibition is to provide a place where Adelaide based artists/stylists/photographers/illustrators/designers can display work that may not necessarily belong in a retail environment or a formal gallery. I'm hoping to be able to turn this into an annual thing, but we'll see.
The artists are:
Katherine Botten - photography/collage, Sally Axford - sculpture/photography/makeup, Matea Gluscevic - collage/apparel, Born on the Cusp (Sophie Guering + Tim Stratton) - apparel, Lachlan Lang - apparel, Tsering Hannaford - drawing, Danny Chricton - illustration/collage, Stephanie Mountzouris - film/apparel
Opening night will be on Friday December 3rd, but I'm sure I'll post I reminder sooner to the date :)
Things to look forward to on the night: artist dj's, free drinks, fairy lights, dedicated dancefloor, awesome people. YES.
