Former flame and local photographer Andrew Long has scored himself a nice little modelling gig for the new Opening Ceremony x Hickey Freeman collection, photographed by Backyard Bill.

The suiting is quite nice, and even from a female point of view, I can definitely appreciate it. Especially when paired with such a relaxing look book and diverse models. Nice one, Opening Ceremony.

Heads up to y'all in Adelaide, the exhibition I'm curating Non Mode, is opening this Friday 3rd December at 6pm. Head on over to Format on Peel Street to experience the greatness.

Format will be having their XMAS SEX PARTY APOCALYPSE afterwards so you can stay for that or you can head to the Attitude Magazine December launch party. CHOICES!

Today I finished this pair for my second cousin, Dora. They're pretty small, about 12cm long.

Made of an embossed fish scale on real leather, with leather soles and laces. I also got a bit excited and made a box for them :)

Okay. The amount of bloggers bloggin' on the recent Lanvin x H&M collaboration has been driving me crazy and I promised to myself I would take no part in it...until now.
I'm not usually a fan of 'fashion films' but this one grabbed my attention. Its as quirky as Alber and I must say, the line looks gorgeous.

Was booked for a pair of Halloween makeups on the weekend that took place at GANG (of course). Jodi and Chez went as the dancer girls from Marilyn Manson's MObscene video and I got to have a go at gore/'special effects' makeup for the first time ever. Beats wedding makeups anyday. Last week I was lucky enough to be approached by the wonderful Belinda (founder of online vintage empire Claire Inc.) to do makeup for her Winter 2011 lookbook. How could I say no?
I arrived at GANG to be confronted with a mountain of designer vintage clothing and accessories, photographer Daniel Noone and all-time favourite model Ally. We got down to businessssss.







One of the best things about getting my hair done by James at Gang is getting there a little earlier and catching up on magazines that you've either missed or can't afford. Such an impressive collection of back issues.

Then I realised the model for The New Guard shoot had arrived and when Lucy was finished with her hair I was off to my second job of the day...
