Firstly... HELLO!

Long time no post mmm?

Well, I've been back at TAFE for a little while now and we're working on high heels which are proving to be pretty straight forward, aside from the fact that the heels that I want in particular are being hard to come by. So I have a few high heels done, but they have no heels attached! I'll show you when they're done though...

So in the meantime I decided to occupy myself with a fun pair of saddled oxfords with a transparent glitter pvc saddle. They're made of all leather aside from the glitter pvc and shank.

These images below are from one of my favourite sites Into The Gloss. Its so fucking amazing. They really get into the beauty industry; they show new products, backstage inspiration (IN DETAIL - YES I WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF BOBBY PINS THEY USED IN THE ALTUZARRA SHOW) and then they interview stylists and models and makeup artists and magazine editors etc about their beauty routines IN DETAIL annnnnnnnnnd my mind is blown.

BIZZNESS

I'm still working two jobs (one makeup/skincare, one fashion retail) with makeup applications on the side. The separate makeup jobs can be pretty fun when your client is your hairdresser and he's going to his boyfriend's chola-themed birthday party.

Did these freehand (stress out) with sharpies and a cotton bud soaked in vodka to do the fade-outs. Classy!

Hey guys. Its Sally here. Matea and I have been ruminatin' on our lives and stuff and thought it was about time we started blogging again. Plus I've had like, TWO WHOLE PEOPLE asking me whether we're going to post more anytime soon, so I'm trying to work out whether I'm doing this for them or for us. Bit o both. If I can tumblr til 2am every night I can do this, right?


We've both been super busy with our own respective break-ups, dates, shopping trips, shopping hangovers, late nights, actual hangovers, and work work work for me and the TAFE shoemaking course for Matea. We've had to cut back to one lunch/dinner date a week and cram all our gossip into that. Its a hard knock life. I don't really have a fitting image to add to this so how about I just start with the posts...
